OUR MISSION

BCES is a neighborhood school in the heart of Eagle Ranch with about 285 students, PreK through 5th grade. We are focusing this year on strengthening instructional communication with families to support Standards-Based Learning and Grading; micro-scheduling our ELA and Math blocks for instructional fidelity and coherence; and differentiating Tier One instruction to support all learners, with a focus on skills-based teaching in small groups. BCES won the John Irwin Award for Academic Excellence in 2026.

We are proud of our community, engaged and full of a sense of belonging, and we continue to focus on our learning environment. We also have a strong SEL support system that includes 7 Mindsets, morning meetings, PBIS, common expectations, and Bobcat character traits.
