Visit School
We encourage parents to visit the school. We find that students take an increased interest in their schoolwork when their parents learn more about the school program.
In order to plan effectively for classroom visits, we appreciate knowing the purpose and time of a parent’s visit ahead of time.
As with all visitors, it is necessary for parents to sign in at the office upon arrival.
Parents are also welcome to eat lunch with their children. If you want to eat a "hot lunch," it is crucial that you call the office by 9:00 a.m. so that your lunch can be added to the daily lunch count.
Smoking is not permitted in the school or on the school grounds at any time.
Student Visits at School
At times we have a request for a visiting relative or friend of a Brush Creek Elementary student to visit a classroom. If approved by the teacher and the principal, the school visitor may visit a half-day only. This applies only to school aged visitors, not preschoolers. Visiting students are not allowed to ride the school bus. Only ECSD students are allowed on district buses. There is no school insurance coverage for student visitors.
