Round up is usually held in February or March.  It's a great way to meet the teachers and find out about the Kindergarten program. 

Look for more information coming your way in January 2009 and then call the school office at 328-8930 to schedule an appointment for your child. 

Kindergarten students may attend half day or full day.  At BCES, we believe all kindergarteners should attend full day, 7:55am-2:50pm.  Tuition is $250/month.  Scholarships are available.  Ask Kim Doss, Office Manager, for more information.  Parents decide if their child will attend full or half day.  The half-day schedule is 7:55-11:30am.  To the best of our ability, Kindergarten teachers will teach reading, writing, and math each morning, with the understanding that further instruction may take place in the afternoon.  Part time students do not go to lunch.  Parents of part time students need to pick up their students by 11:30am daily.

The cut-off date for new kindergarteners is now October 1.  Therefore, if your child has a September birthday, he/she is now eligible to start Kindergarten.
