Teacher Recognition Dinner
find out how to nominate an outstanding teacher
The Public Education Foundation of Eagle County honors one educator from each school who has made outstanding contributions to education in the Eagle County School District. Nominees must be currently working in the field of education or in the category of "friend of education" and are actively involved in education-related activities.
Each nominee must be nominated by at least two people (colleague, parent, student, or community member) one of which needs to be a teacher.
Nominees will be asked to return a fact sheet on their professional activities to assist in judging.
All nominees will be recognized at the Teacher Recognition Dinner in April.
Nomination forms are available at the School Office, and are generally due in February or March. Completed forms should be returned to the School Office.
Raffle tickets are also available for a chance to send your favorite teacher on a trip to an exotic location. Tickets are for sale in March and available in the school office.
Congratulations to Jeanne Sagurton, reading teacher and mentor, for being named Brush Creek's Outstanding Educator for 2006!
